IT’S ALL IN THE NAME
I took the following picture about a block from my office:
While this has been the operational motto for men since the dawn of time it still seems like an unfortunate choice for a convenience store chain.
Right around the corner from the above pictured Kum & Go is a Chinese food delivery service called “Takee-Outee.”
In a way, “Takee-Outee” and “Kum & Go” both kind of imply the same thing.
However, my all-time favorite business name isn’t in Oklahoma yet. It is the Scottsdale Arizona based Mexican restaurant the “Pink Taco.” I would SO eat there.
Actually, I have eaten there in a manner of speaking.
Ok…I’ll get my mind out of the gutter now. Have a great weekend!

One of my faves from the South is Piggly Wiggly.
First of all, I’m jealous that you’re only paying $3.09. We’re between $3.39 – $3.49.
So, do they actually serve food at the Pink Taco?
::snort::
Yes, the gas price merits comment first. I thought I’d died and gone to heaven when I saw it went from $3.26 here yesterday, to $3.16 today! But I would so “takee-outee” my nozzle and fill up, if it were $3.09, lol!
Now, most important! I SOOOOO envy your wife this weekend!!!!!

Remind me not to invite you to dinner.
OMG!
I’d DEFINITELY invite you to dinner!
You are a sick and twisted man with your mind in the gutter. The things you have said in this post are rude and disgusting!! PLEASE tell me more!!
I must must MUST know more about your wife. I mean she married you, and stays married to you. I just can’t imagine the odd mixture of saint and devil it must require.
Ha ha! I smirk every time I see a Kum & Go sign on the corner. It just seems so dirty and I really really really wonder if it was done on purpose…
I want to make you one promise right now. I will refrain from using the term “pink taco” in your presence. I think that is best for both of us. (-:
Oh. My.
This would fit right into the current Featured_Grownups topic
Wow! Talk about a full-service gas station!
ewwww….the Pink Taco? ewwwwww!
I was shocked when I moved to Tulsa from Texas & saw Kum & Go…I just couldn’t believe that anyone would name a business that…I refuse to set foot in one! lol…
I’m simply astounded. next to speechless. A TACO? That’s what you call it? Harrumph!
I…..uh….
….er…..um…..
……commentless.

I saw one called the “Pick It Quick” and I thought about noses!
Hey, Mark, get your mind out of the gutter…you’re crowding me!
Hope you’re having a great weekend! (I could have said something SO different…but I decided to be a good girl for once. That doesn’t happen often!)
Haha! That’s absolutely hilarious.
(I would love a pink taco right about now. Mmm, appetizing!)
I was in Scottsdale in March, and never noticed a Pink Taco place. Probably in northern Scottsdale—we stayed south.
Went and read your son’s blog. What a wonderful blog it is! And it is easy to see that he got his writing ability from his dad. You have a right to be proud!! Especially, since he was writing about you. His love came shining through!!
Wow… I have no idea what to say.
Are you done with your cold shower yet? hehe
Its nice to know I’m not the only one who reads the kum and go sign and have to dig out of the gutter! The “worst” sign I’ve seen yet stated and I quote, “I got my crabs from dirty dicks.” This was a road sign on the way to Nags Head, NC. Obviously about a local seafood restaraunt, however I almost went off the road from laughing so hard. Nice post!
I Love it!!!!
ooookaaaaay….I won’t be able to eat Mexican now for awhile.
I thought the purpose of the picture was to tell us that gas was $3.09 a gallon. Ah, the pure of heart, there are so few of us left.
Luv it, luv it, luv it! Darn, can’t show THIS one to the kids!
RYC: I WARNED you!!! And she is awfully cute…
Hey, do I get a free hot dog when I fill up at the Kum & Go? I know I get to pay where the “pumping” actually happens now. No need to pay the teller inside. So convenient!!
Have a great respite. Hope your summer is not a bummer. HA! I am just shaking my head at this blog. Oh dear.
Guess we are all in the same gutter since we all understood you
It took me a while before I would even get gas at the one at the corner near me. Then driving past it to get gas somewhere else seemed too crazy.
