Whoa…far out Man, like where’s your sign for the demonstration?

I think about one of your earlier posts about “liberal” being the dirtest word in American now that the campaigning here is out of control. I am tempted to remind folks here that liberal means “given generously and bountifully, and one is tolerant in religious and political matters and not constrained by orthodoxy or tradition.” When did being generous, tolerant, and open minded become such a bad thing? I will be so glad when the negative ads are over but I’m afraid my people will not be in office…as usual.
