CANCUN PHOTO BLOG

We’re back! And we had a fabulous time! Here is the photographic evidence. The names have been changed to protect the guilty.
This was the view from our hotel balcony
We have a “take no prisoners approach” to vacations so we tried to do every excursion possible. Here are a few:
Parasailing
The Mayan ruins at Tulum
Snorkeling and Snuba at Xel-Ha Lagoon
And of course – much shopping.
We also went on the infamous pub crawl which begins around 8:00 in the evening and ends at 3:30 in the morning.
Here we have a woman with a loud whistle pouring a shot down my throat.
Apparently, it was a little strong
Here, I’m table dancing while a young woman from our group is grabbing my ass. Boy - if I had a nickel for every time that’s happened…well, actually, I’d have a nickel, but I digress.
Don’t ask.
Even in a club, deep philosophical questions can be posed…
As far at the pub crawl in concerned, I think this sign says it all…
It was a great trip because I got to hang out with this hottie…
We also spent a lot of time on the beach.
David Hasselhoff called to say he’s not worried about his job.
Sea turtles would crawl up on the beach late at night. During a late night stroll we ran into this guy:
Finally, on the last day, we took in sunrise on the beach.
Thanks to everyone who wished us a good time. Mission accomplished.

What? No Speedo pictures?! I am really disappointed! I love the balloon…..ahhhh……thingy. When we were in Puerto Vallarta my husband made one and wore it around his waist for an entire evening on a party boat.

Great pics, I was least excited about the ruins when we went and they ended up being one of my favorite things about our trip. Looks like great fun, Im a bit jealous.

I love sea turtles, they were probably up on the beach to lay eggs, it is about this time of year that they do that. You can see them all over Maui doing that at this time of year too.
Okay, so, the next time you go to Cancun, be sure to bring me back a sea turtle. Just take an extra suitcase and you should be fine. I’ll name him Boo Radley.
How lovely, you included a photo of my old palace. I just could not stand the humidity, I tell you, otherwise I might not have left. I am pleased you had a good time. You actually look rather tipsy in one of the photos. Sigh.

Suddenly I’m less impressed that my mother and father-in-law invited us plus my parents to Cancun…I just don’t think I need to see the kind of things that would go on in such a situation.
